La IGN ha fatto sapere che
Doug Jones farà parte del cast di
Arrow e vestirà i panni di un villain, precisamente di
Deathbolt.
Deathbolt è considerato una vera e propria batteria umana, in quanto capace di sfruttare a proprio piacimento l'elettricità e la luce. Questi debutterà nella terza stagione di
Arrow, precisamente nell'episodio numero 19.
Doug Jones ha lavorato in molti film tratti dai fumetti come
Batman Returns, Tank Girl, Mystery Men, Men in Black II e
Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, ma viene soprattutto ricordato per aver interpretato
Abe Sapien in
Hellboy.
